About me

Between ideas and making things.

Computer science student. Curious builder.

Mingyang’s blue-haired character in a black hoodie

I’m Mingyang, an undergraduate studying Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. I like moving between ideas and implementation: figuring out what a system should do, connecting its pieces, and testing where it breaks.

My interests span applied AI, software systems, and small interactive worlds. Internship work has brought me into automation, data pipelines, application integration, and the practical details of building a complete client. I’m interested in how these pieces fit together, especially when a system has to work with existing data and interfaces.

Some projects are practical; others start with a simple question: would this be fun to build? GoldenCamp leaves room for that side of my work.

What keeps me curious

Applied AI

Making context useful, while being clear about its limits.

Software systems

Connecting interfaces, data, and the rules between them.

Interactive experiments

Small worlds where a simple idea can turn into something playful.
